Watermaster dredger busy in Ozama River

Watermaster/Aquamec Ltd. has just released this amazing photo from a cleanup project in the Dominican Republic.

The Ozama River in the Dominican Republic runs through the country’s capital and largest city, Santo Domingo, before reaching the Caribbean Sea.

This urban part of the river struggles with plastic waste and other pollution, invasive aquatic vegetation, and excess silt, compromising its health, navigability and safety. 

With its combined suction dredging, excavating and raking capabilities, the multipurpose Watermaster dredger is helping to solve all of these challenges.

Watermaster is amphibious and can operate even in the most shallow vegetation-clogged parts of the river.
