The King’s Harbour Master Portsmouth announced today that routine maintenance dredging will be conducted at the Hornet Sailing Club located in Haslar Creek on the western side of Portsmouth Harbour from 22 to 25 May 2023.
The dredging is to take place between Fieldhouse and Eagle pontoons from midway to the end of the pontoons. And between the inside of Eagle pontoon, midway to the end and across to HMS Alliance.
The vessel conducting the plough dredging operation is the “HANDFAST” (LOA 19.6m) which will display the appropriate signals from the COLREGS when conducting their operations.
