As dredging activities continue to progress on Phase 2 of the Muddy River FRM project, new temporary road closures have been put in place for the Netherlands Road.

“Temporary road closures will take place on April 26-28, 2021, on Netherlands Road as equipment and materials are moved to project Work Area #1 (Leverett Pond – Pond Ave in Brookline) from Work Area #4, in the vicinity of Riverway and Netherlands Road (near the Brookline DPW building),” USACE said in the release.

They also added that dredging is complete at Work Area #4 and will progress to Work Area #1 (Leverett Pond).

Dredging will begin at Leverett Pond later this month once the site access and mobilization is complete, concluded the Army Corps.
