EIK Engineering has successfully delivered an EIK CAT323D2L amphibious excavator to a customer in Turkey.

The excavator, delivered and assembled last month, will be used by the government to carry out maintenance of the river beds, swamps, lakes, ponds and reservoirs.

EIK salesperson and service team flew over to oversee the installation process and conducted a training for the crews on the operation and maintenance of the equipment.

Equipped with a 14m long reach with 0.6m³ bucket, and supplementary pontoon & spuds, the amphibious excavator is sent to the site to remove mud and sediments deposited at the river bank.
