This development scheme, worth around $3.4 million, involved construction of a 1000 ft x 300 ft harbor.

The contract was signed on March 10, 2014 between the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc. and the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure.

Meedhoo Constituency MP Ahmed Siyam Mohamed, Bandidhoo Council President Hassan Haneef and the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr. Mohamed Muizzu also attended the ceremony.
