Public consultation for the Bundaberg flood protection study is now open with the Queensland Government encouraging the Bundaberg local community to participate.
The Bundaberg flood protection study is a vital component of the Queensland Government’s commitment to develop a 10-year action plan for flood mitigation works in the Bundaberg region.
The study will build on the previous work undertaken in late 2013 by the Bundaberg Regional Council to identify flood mitigation projects.
This study is due to be completed in July 2016 with public consultation taking place in November.
