JULONG, a Chinese manufacturer of various water engineering ships and platforms, has completed delivery of a cutter suction dredger CSD250 to a customer in France.

The JULONG CSD250 has been delivered as a complete dredging package, including floating and land HDPE pipe lines, tools and spares package and oversea after sale service. The dredger, assembled and tested successfully by JULONG field service team in France, is ready for action.

It will perform channel dredging in Martinique Island, a France overseas province in the Caribbean Sea. The dredge master and the crew have been trained on site by JULONG field service team.

The small dredger was able to reach the site due to its modular design – all elements were packed in 5 pieces of 40” containers – and its limited total weight of 50 tons.

JULONG CSD250 has a pump capacity of 1,000 m³/h and dredging depth of 8 meters. The cutter suction dredger has a total installed diesel power of 336 kW (450hp).
