Transnet National Ports Authority is undertaking a public participation process for the Draft Maintenance Management Plan (MMP) for the Port of Ngqura.

The Draft MMP provides a framework for managing the environmental impacts associated with qualifying maintenance activities within the existing Port of Ngqura.

Also, the plan outlines the activities covered, environmental controls, roles and responsibilities, monitoring requirements, incident management, reporting and stakeholder communication arrangements.

According to Transnet, interested and affected parties are invited to review the documents published on this page, register as stakeholders and submit comments during the formal public comment period (October 30 to November 30, 2026).
