The Fort Madison City Council will hold a public hearing on Marina Dredging Project on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 811 Avenue E, Fort Madison.

The purpose of the hearing will consist of approving plans, specifications, contract documents and awarding construction contract for the project.

The work will include hydraulic dredging of a 7000 cubic yards of sediment from the mentioned area. The dredge spoil site is located north of the Highway 2/Burlington Northern Railroad Bridge crossing and south of Avenue G.

All works should be completed on or before June 30, 2015.
