Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Company (GLDD) has won a $7.4 million firm-fixed-price contract with options for the Southwest Pass maintenance dredging work.
According to the U.S. Department of Defense, this work will be performed on the Mississippi River SWP Area and possibly in other areas of the New Orleans District with an estimated completion date of August 20, 2015.
Bids were solicited via the internet with two received.
The Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, is the contracting activity.
