The Bahamas Bimini Dredging Resumes

A dredging project for Resorts World Bimini’s (RWB) major resort development on Bimini has been allowed by The Bahamas Supreme Court last week.

As the Nassau Guardian reports, the Court discharged the Privy Council prohibition of the project.

The prohibition lasted until RWB got all the permits for the project, which were obtained last week.

The RWB said it will resume dredging operations immediately.

RWB is conducting the dredging work in the waters off Bimini as part of its plans to build a 1,000-foot ferry pier and man-made island that will allow its cruise ship bringing day-trippers from Miami to its resort on the island to dock.
