Swinomish Southern Channel Requires Dredging

Approximately 65,000 cubic yards of sediment will be dredged from the Swinomish southern channel near Goat Island and Skagit Bay from September 2014 until February 2015, according to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District.

The dredged material will be placed at the Rosario Strait PSDDA Site.

The total value of this dredging project, located in La Conner, Skagit County, is between $500,000 and $1 mln.
