Darrell Nicholas, P.E., has joined Geosyntec Consultants as a civil engineer and Senior Consultant for the firm based in Tennessee.

Mr. Nicholas has more than 35 years of experience in construction management and quality assurance for a wide range of complex, multiple stakeholder projects. For the past decade, he has concentrated his practice on the remediation of contaminated sediments.

Applying his problem-solving skills and knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic dredging technology, Mr. Nicholas has supported remediation of more than 2 million cubic yards of contaminated sediment during his career, with many of his projects earning national and international awards for innovation.

He has played a lead role in the design and management of some of the largest, most complex sediment remediation projects completed in the United States and overseas during the past two decades.

Geosyntec is a specialized consulting and engineering firm that works with private and public sector clients to meet their needs in contaminated site assessment and cleanup, environmental planning and management, water and natural resources assessment, management, restoration and much more.
