MT Højgaard A/S has been awarded a contract by Samsø Municipality for the ferry terminal development located south of Ballen.

The project, worth around 10 million USD, includes the construction of new piers, wharfs, berths, dredging and recovery of materials in the rear area.

This tender is likely to be sub-contracted.

Background

Samsø Municipality has decided to establish a new ferry terminal south of Ballen by Balleshage Samsø’s east coast, in order to reduce the sailing time between the Samsø and Sjælland.

The project is offered as a turnkey comprehensive detailed design and execution.
