Government: Sabetta Port Opened for Foreign Vessels (Russia)

By Government of Russia Decree dated 04. 07. 2013 No. 1128-r the seaport of Sabetta located in the Yamal and Nenets Autonomous District on the coast of the Ob Mouth of Kara Sea was opened for foreign vessels.

Sabetta is the seaport, where FSUE “Rosmorport” is implementing a project for the construction of port infrastructure facilities of federal property and creation of a navigable approaching canal.

In order to perform dredging works at the approaching canal, the contract organization, which carries out the construction will involve 3 specialized dredgers of Jan De Nul Group designed for work in the far high-latitude sea regions, 2 trailing dredgers, and also 12 dredgers of other functional purposes.
