RSDE Completes Draugen Infill Project for AS Norske Shell.

Reef Subsea Dredging & Excavation (RSDE) has successfully completed on another rock removal project for A/S Norske Shell over an 11 week period in the Draugen Field, located in License PL93 (Block 6407/9) in the Haltenbanken area some 140km north of Kristiansund, Norway.

The project was contracted by Ocean Installer for A/S Norske Shell and the work was performed from Ocean Installer’s operated offshore construction vessel ‘Normand Mermaid’.

The scope of work for RSDE included providing the supervision of necessary equipment and personnel to complete the rock removal to allow installation of new oil production and gas lift lines, umbilicals and re-routing of existing lines.

Ocean Installer’s Offshore Manager Knut Dalen commented; “Extremely helpful guys with a ‘can do’ attitude, they are a credit to Reef Subsea. All crew worked in a safe manner and assisted the client with planning of tasks and operations. Clear communications and exceptional co-operation was delivered by the crew performing the work.”
