China: CCCC Second Harbor Nabs Important Contract

Recently, CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. has won the bid for the water and land works of the maintenance and renovation project of the China Marine Surveillance Fujian Corps, and Lot 1 of the terminal project of Guangxi Lingyu Yuntong Port Co., Ltd., with a total contract value of 185 million yuan.

The water and land works of the maintenance and renovation project of the China Marine Surveillance Fujian Corps are located in Mawei District, Fuzhou and Dongshan County, Zhangzhou respectively. With a construction period of one year, the project involves auxiliary facilities, including two 3,000t marine surveillance ship berths (hydraulic structure designed for 5,000t marine surveillance ships) and two 2,000t marine surveillance ship berths (hydraulic structure designed for 3,000t marine surveillance ships) at Mawei base and Dongshan base, as well as the land on the back of the berths.

The terminal project of Guangxi Lingyu Yuntong Port Co., Ltd. is located at Jiangnan operation zone, Yunyue, Qisha west port area, Fangchenggang, with a designed annual throughput of 1.2 million tons and a terminal coastline of 350 meters. Lot 1 undertaken by the company involves the hydraulic works (including foundation trench works) and berth works of the terminal, the dredging works of the turning site, as well as the east and west revetment works.
