CCCC First Harbor Wins SOA Qingdao Contract (China)

On November 9, CCCC First Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. won the bid for the hydraulic structure works of the right-safeguarding law enforcement zone of the Qingdao oceanic science research base, North China Sea Branch of the State Oceanic Administration (SOA), with a contract value of 164 million yuan and a construction period of 12 months.

Located in Laoshan District, Qingdao, with a land area of 1.34 hectares, the project involves two 5000t berths and a 1000t berth, a 40-meter section connecting the terminal and the land, a 360-meter breakwater, a 330-meter east revetment, and water, power, communication and fire facilities. With everything set, the project is scheduled to be launched on November 25, 2012.
