A dredging vessel „Curituck“ has arrived in Marshfield to redredge a federal channel leading to Green Harbor, according to 959watd.com.

The dredging started last week and is expected to continue for the next week.

Marshfield Harbormaster Mike Dimeo says the dredger and its crew arrived on Thursday afternoon.

Dimeo says it’s very important to clear the channels between two jetties- channels he say shave become filled in worse this year than in years past.

Dimeo says two crews will continue to work on 12-hour schedules, 24 hours a day until May 18th.
