GEO.xyz continues to invest in bespoke survey & support vessels and survey equipment.

During All Energy 2012, “Geosurveyor VIII” will be presented as the fifth multipurpose catamaran in the GEO.xyz-fleet of vessels.

With an MCA cat. 2 certificate, for operations up to 60 nm from safe haven, this new build vessel, confirms GEO.xyz’s commitment in providing services to the renewable energy, dredging, marine construction sectors and to local or government agencies.

Recently, GEO.xyz was awarded a long term contract in the Netherlands, to perform multibeam and side scan sonar surveys in the approach channels to Rotterdam and Ijmuiden. In order to comply with the strict project specifications, GEO.xyz invested in a “Klein 5000 Side scan sonar” system, including a dedicated computer controlled winch.

With highly skilled and flexible personnel, GEO.xyz is able to execute projects all over Europe.
