The Netherlands: Extreme Engineering at Maasvlakte 2

Discovery Channel will broadcast Extreme Engineering, Port of Rotterdam for the first time in Denmark (10.30 pm) and Norway (5.10 am). The next day the Netherlands and Belgium (both 8.35pm) will follow. Sweden is scheduled October 15th (2.00am), Finland October 24th (10.30pm) and Germany December 7t

Discovery Channel will broadcast Extreme Engineering, Port of Rotterdam for the first time in Denmark (10.30 pm) and Norway (5.10 am). The next day the Netherlands and Belgium (both 8.35pm) will follow. Sweden is scheduled October 15th (2.00am), Finland October 24th (10.30pm) and Germany December 7th (11.25pm).

Danny Forster visits the Port of Rotterdam, where the largest land reclamation project in the western hemisphere is realized in order to triple present container capacity. He also reports on the handling of the largest container vessels in the World, the E-Class units of Maersk Line, at the APM Terminal at the present Maasvlakte. Duration of the programme is, including commercials, almost 60 minutes.
