IMS commissions new 7012 HP Versi-Dredge in Texas

IMS commissioned a brand new 7012 HP Versi-Dredge® in Texas for a repeat customer at a paper mill earlier this week.

The 7012 HP was selected due to the number of aerators to maneuver around in the large lagoon.

“IMS’s patented Starwheel Drive self-propulsion system can maneuver around the aerators without using multiple people and a workboat to re-set anchor cables,” the company said.

“Shore mounted anchor cables would not have been practical and would have increased operational costs and decreased productivity.”

“Furthermore, the 7012 HP’s powerhouse GIW 10×12 submersible dredge pump outperforms the nearest auger dredge competitor by up to 40%.”
