The delivery includes the two-meter Otter USV and the larger, six-meter Mariner USV.

According to Maritime Robotics, the Otter USV is a fully electric catamaran specifically designed for data acquisition in sheltered, coastal, and shallow areas, while the Mariner USV boasts a larger payload capacity and extended operational endurance, enabling more demanding offshore missions.

Both vessels feature energy-efficient, low-emission designs, the Norwegian company said.

“Maritime Robotics is proud to continue its collaboration with DEME. The partnership underlines the quality and reliability of our products and the trust our customers place in us,” said Vegard Evjen Hovstein, CEO and Founder of Maritime Robotics.

Maritime Robotics recently teamed up with Ovun, a Norwegian pioneer in sustainable manufacturing, to produce eco-friendly hulls for the fully electric Otter USV.
