Cottrell Contracting Corporation recently kicked off a dredging and marsh restoration project at the mouth of the Salem River in New Jersey.

According to the Army Corps, the contractor has removed close to 200,000 cubic yards of sediment from the federal channel.
The sediment was pumped to enhance marsh within the Supawna Meadows National Wildlife Refuge, managed by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.
