Starting this week, Niedersachsen Ports will carry out planned dredging operations at the jetty for liquefied gases (AVG) in the Port of Stade-Bützfleth, according to a statement by DET.

As a result, Energos Force will cast off and temporarily take up a waiting position on the Outer Elbe.

After this work, the vessel will return to its berth at the Elbe port and will be further prepared for commissioning, which is planned for the second half of the year, DET said.

According to their official statement, “these measures are repeated routinely in the port, because berths in the port must have a certain depth so that ships do not touch the bottom and remain mobile even at low tide. The depth of the troughs is based on the size of the ships using the berth.”
