MTCC: Bilehfahi development work nears end

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has just released the latest update on the Sh. Bilehfahi Harbor Development Project.

According to the announcement, work on design and build of this very important scheme is well underway, with overall 82% project progress.

MTCC has already completed construction of revetment and harbor basin dredging operations.

The scope of the project includes:

• dredging operations of 50,376cbm,

• construction of a 181m quay wall,

• a 170m revetment,

• a 434m breakwater,

• installation of 1565sqm pavement, navigation lights and streetlights.

The value of the project is MVR 28.42 million ($1.8 million).
