DCI, NMDC to form strategic alliance

Dredging Corporation of India Ltd (DCI) will sign a strategic alliance with National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) next week to pursue work jointly in India and overseas markets using each other’s resources.

Under the agreement, NMDC will be providing their cutter suction dredgers (CSDs) to DCI and DCI’s trailing suction hopper dredgers (TSHDs) fleet will also be available for carrying out various dredging and marine infrastructure projects in India and abroad.

DCI is a premier dredging company in India with over 45 years of dredging experience – under the indirect control of the Government of India.

NMDC, dredging and marine infrastructure company under the direct control of the Government of United Arab Emirates, provides marine infrastructure services around the world.

The DCI-NMDC alliance event, taking place on January 24, will be opened for a question and answer session after the singing ceremony.
