Miladhoo Harbor development in full swing

The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) yesterday released an update on the N. Miladhoo Harbor development program.

According to MTCC, the work is moving forward with overall 59% project progress.

The N. Miladhoo Harbour project includes:

• dredging and excavation operations – 37,222cbm;

• construction of a 209m breakwater;

• a 152m revetment;

• a 286m quay wall;

• 1,430sqm of paved area;

• installation of navigation lights, etc.

The value of the project is MVR 45.26 million ($2.9 million). The contract was awarded to MTCC in September 2019.
