Crews located the 120-foot dredger, the Captain Leo II, at the spot – owned by Marcol Dredging Co.

The dredger was connected to two barges, said Jack Walker, Marcol Dredging spokesman.

“The dredger, along with the two barges, had partially sunk,” he said.

The vessel has a reported maximum potential of 1,000 gallons of diesel fuel on board. Marcol deployed boom around it to minimize environmental impacts.

There were no persons aboard the dredger when it capsized, the U.S. Coast Guard said.
