IADC to host Meet the Experts webinars

In the upcoming months, IADC will organise several interactive live webinars with experts from the dredging sector.

All topics such as the importance of survey and site investigations or managing financial risks, are based of high-profile dredging projects.

For each webinar that is free of charge, IADC will invite an expert to speak on a particular topic, which will include ample opportunity for participants to ask questions.

Each webinar will focus on a high-profile dredging project and the expert will explain how they dealt with the chosen topic, what lessons have been learnt and what advice they can give.

The 1st two webinars:

• Wednesday 21 April, 11:00 CET
  The importance of survey and site investigation of project sites and sand borrow areas. In this webinar, Alkwin Landewee of Boskalis will take you to Manila in the Philippines for the tender of the Pasay reclamation development project.
• Tuesday, 4 May, 11:00 CET
  The importance of managing financial risks in a dredging project, presented by Yves Bosteels, Director Knowledge, Processes and Innovation, Jan De Nul Group. In this webinar, the topic of managing financial risks will be linked to the Brisbane Airport dredging and reclamation project.
