Feydhoo Harbor development in full swing

The Sh. Feydhoo Harbor expansion and development program is well underway, Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) reports.

According to their latest project update, the dredging works in the new harbor basin are currently underway.

The Sh. Feydhoo Harbor Project includes:

• dredging and excavation operations of 27,500cbm;

• construction of a 378m breakwater;

• a 90m revetment;

• a 276m quay wall;

• installation of 1,380sqm paved area, installation of streetlights and navigation lights.

The value of the project is MVR 33.1 million ($2.1 million).
