New focus for CEDA Dredging Days 2021

Business development

The Central Dredging Association (CEDA) has announced that its flagship event – Dredging Days – has been revamped and given a new focus. CEDA Dredging Days 2021 will be held, end of September/early October 2021, at a new venue to be announced shortly.

CEDA

The CEDA Dredging Days event is well known, in the wider dredging community, for its scientifically sound programme and high-quality technical papers.

After a thorough review, which took account of important feedback from CEDA members, and other stakeholders in the world of dredging, the program committee has developed a fresh new event.

The preliminary program features a unique mix of what was done well, in the past, and is needed for the future.

New focus. New format

CEDA Dredging Days 2021 will focus strongly on ‘Sustainable Dredging and Innovation – The science. The practice. The business’.

Content will range from new technologies, to the way the industry does business, all viewed through the lens of sustainable best practice.

The redesigned conference program features both academic and new practice-oriented presentations, in parallel sessions, as well as keynotes and high-level panel discussions.

In addition to peer-reviewed technical content, the conference program includes a business exchange session, designed to explore and encourage mutual opportunities.

Further, new features in the program include a special session, where participants can hear how other industries have solved similar issues to those in dredging.

Also, in what should be a lively session, young dredging professionals will get to challenge a willing panel of industry CEOs, with questions on the future of the industry.
