Callan wins Gulf Intracoastal Waterway dredging gig

Callan Marine has won a contract for maintenance dredging of the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway – Rollover Pass to the Galveston Causeway.

This project will include the removal of 1,500,000 cubic yards of sediment from the area.

Also, the material will be placed at a designated Dredge Material Placement Area (DMPA) along the channel.

Dredging will begin in early November 2020, utilizing Callan Marine’s dredger General Pershing.

Further, dredging is anticipated to be completed early to mid-2021.
