TAMU Dredging Course set for January

Texas A&M University (TAMU) has announced that their 50th Dredging Engineering Short Course will take place from January 11-15, 2021.

This online Dredging Short Course will discuss current information on dredging fundamentals, dredge equipment & instrumentation, dredging procedures and dredged material placement procedures.

Sediment transport in pipes, environmental regulations, mathematical/numerical models, cost estimating, dredging and remediation of contaminated sediments, etc. will also be highlighted at the course.

According to the official announcement, wetlands development, dredging case studies, topics in surveying, cost estimating, engineering with nature and beneficial uses of dredged material will also be discussed at the event.
