The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will hold a public meeting in Poughkeepsie, NY, next week to discuss its second review of the cleanup of PCB-contaminated sediment in the upper Hudson River.

This is the first of two meetings that are being held during the public comment period to present the findings of EPA’s second five-year review and to answer questions from the public.

EPA said that the first meeting will take place on Wednesday, June 28, from 6 p.m.– 8 p.m. at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel.

The next meeting is scheduled for July 19 in Saratoga Springs, NY.

On June 1, 2017, EPA released for public comment its second five-year review report for the Hudson River PCBs Superfund site.

Written comments are being accepted until September 1, 2017, EPA said.
