Keel Laying Ceremony for Rosmorrechflot’s New Dredger

Russian Shiprepair and Shipbuilding Corporation OJSC (Gorodets, Nizhny Novgorod) yesterday held a keel-laying ceremony for Rosmorrechflot’s new dredger of project RDВ 66.42 (Hull No 1001).

The ceremony was attended by Victor Vovk, Deputy Head of Rosmorrechflot.

The non-self-propelled dredger will have the length of 52.9m, breadth of 12m and capacity of 1,000 cbm/h and will operate at the rivers of the Lena Basin.

The ship will be built in the framework of the program on renovation of the service fleet (Federal Targeted Program -Development of Russia’s Transport System in 2010-2020) to the order of Rosmorrechflot.

Upon completion of the ceremony Victor Vovk held a meeting dedicated to implementation of the contract with the heads of SSC and RechVodPut, as well as with the key specialist of the shipyard.
