USPA to Meet Leading Dredging Contractors

Ukrainian Seaports Authority (USPA) – supported by the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine – will hold a business meeting with the leading Ukrainian and international dredging companies.

The meeting will take place on February 3rd at the building of American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine.

According to USPA, the meeting is aimed at informing potential contractors on the company’s plans to implement a number of strategic infrastructure dredging projects in 2017.

In the release, USPA invited representatives of both Ukrainian and foreign dredging companies to participate at the meeting including: Baggerbedrijf de Boer (Netherlands), Royal Boskalis Westminster (Netherlands), DEME (Belgium), Rohde Nielsen A/S (Denmark ), Van Oord (Netherlands), TOA Corporation (Japan), Hyundai Engineering & Construction (South Korea), China Communications Construction Company (China), National Marine Dredging Company (UAE), Jan de Nul NV (Luxembourg), Civil Engineering and Technical Fleet JSC (Bulgaria).

Today we face with a clear task to provide dredging in prescribed in the commitments deadline with a significant increase in the transparency of tender procedures and the quality of the tender documents. To this end, we invite all interested companies in Ukrainian market and looking forward for a constructive dialogue,” said USPA CEO Raivis Veckagans.

Among others invited to attend the meeting are the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Investment Bank as well as number of consulting companies.
