Dover Tender Announced

Dover Harbor Board has announced a major tender for construction works on marine structures and bridges worth approximately £135 million.

The tender is part of the port’s Dover Western Docks Revival (DWDR) project that will transform Dover’s waterfront for future generations.

The marine civil engineering works under the contract include the construction of two new berths 250 meters and 300 meters respectively, a new marina, navigation channel with bridge and lock gates with associated dredging and reclamation.

Also included in the contract are 650m long Marina Curve, 100m long Marina Curve Extension, 600m long Marina Pier and Promenade, miscellaneous breakwaters, wave walls and other civil engineering works.

The deadline for submitting bids to the DWDR Head of Procurement and Contracts is August 15th 2106.
