Castle Peak Power Station Jetty Requires More Dredging

Business & Finance

With immediate effect and for a period of approximately 10 months, dredging operations will be carried out within the Castle Peak Power Station Jetty, Tap Shek Kok area.

According to the Hong Kong Marine Department (MARDEP), these operations will be carried out by one grab dredger with two split hopper barges and two tugs providing assistance.

The number of vessels engaged in the works will change from time to time to suit operational requirements.

A working area of approximately 50 meters around the grab dredger will be established, MARDEP said in its Marine Department Notice.

Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the dredger.
