Sarpi Coastline Project Near Completion

Coastal protection works along the seaside portion of the Senaki-Poti-Sarpi international road are coming to an end.

The works are being implemented by the order of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia. The project is aimed to stop erosion of the road’s bottom layer, providing safety for the vehicles and passengers.

Deputy Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Eka Sepashvili together with the Director of “State Construction Company”, Joseph Ozashvili recently inspected the ongoing works.

The $24 million worth Sarpi coastal protection project, being funded by the state, will be completed within next few weeks.
