Hudson CAG Meeting Next Week

Business & Finance

The next meeting of the Hudson River PCBs Site Community (CAG) will take place on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the Saratoga Town Hall (12 Spring Street, Schuylerville, NY, 12871).

The Hudson River CAG represents interests that were identified in EPA’s April 2003 Draft Community Involvement Plan for the site. CAG members were selected by nominating organizations independently of EPA.

The Hudson dredging project is being undertaken by GE under an agreement with the EPA, which selected dredging as the remedial strategy to address PCBs in sediments in the river, and determined the size and scope of the project, after thoroughly evaluating a full range of options including more dredging.

The meeting agenda:

  • Welcome, Introductions, Review April 2015 Meeting Summary;
  • Dredging Project Update;
  • Follow up Presentation to Discuss Floodplains RI/FS Workplan;
  • Review of Sediment Special Studies;
  • Brief Updates and CAG Business.
