The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, has announced a plan for the Snohomish River maintenance dredging scheme.

This deepening program, located in Everett, Washington, will consist of routine clamshell dredging and placement activities associated with maintenance of the Snohomish River Federal navigation channel and lower settling basin.

The total value of the project is estimated between $1 million and $5 million.

Disposal of all dredge material will take place at the Port Gardner PSDDA disposal site or other approved disposal sites assuming all proper permits are in place.

In-water work will start on 15 October 2015 and should be completed by 15 February 2016.
