Manson Nets Two Contracts Worth $18M

Manson Construction Company of Seattle, Washington, one of the nation’s leading heavy civil marine construction and dredging companies, has just won two dredging contracts from the government.

The first one, worth approx $10.6 million and awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Savannah District, is for maintenance dredging of the Savannah and Brunswick harbor entrance channel.

Work will be performed in Savannah and Brunswick, Georgia, with an estimated completion date of March 30, 2015.

Second contract in the amount of $7.4 million was awarded by the Corps San Francisco District and is for maintenance dredging of the Oakland inner and outer harbor channels, and appropriate disposal of the dredged material.

The project will be performed in Oakland, California, with an estimated completion date of February 17, 2015.
