Dredging on East End Boat Harbor Kicks Off

The City of Winona has announced that the East End Boat Harbor will be closed for approximately one month to accommodate the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Mississippi River channel dredging and sand offloading.

The Winona Port Authority earlier approved an agreement with the Army Corps to deposit about 60,000 cubic feet of Mississippi River dredged materials on 4.5 acres in Technology Park.

The industrial park is located just east of Menards. Some of the sand will be used as fill for future projects in Technology Park.
