CHEC Bags Two Indonesian Projects

CHEC has recently signed two projects in Indonesia consecutively: alumina terminal EPC contract of Well Harvest Winning Alumina Refinery and marine engineering of the coal terminal project of the 1×670MW supercritical coal-fired power station in Bantam.

With a contract value of over 50 million US dollars and a construction period of 18 months, the alumina terminal EPC contract of Well Harvest Winning Alumina Refinery involves general works like 3.5 8,000t lighter berths, 959 meters of revetments (cofferdams), 300 meters of sand dikes, yards and roads.

With a contract value of some 20 million US dollars and a construction period of 17 months, marine engineering of the coal terminal project of the 1×670MW supercritical coal-fired power station in Bantam involves terminal, approach bridge, approach dike road pavement, civil construction, equipment installation, etc.

The successful bid for the two projects has laid the groundwork for consolidating CHEC’s market role in the Indonesian hydraulic engineering market and thoroughly developing the Kalimantan market.
