McIntyre: Coastal Meetings in New Hanover and Brunswick Counties (USA)

Today, U.S. Congressman Mike McIntyre will be in New Hanover and Brunswick County participating in the following coastal events:

– 9:30 a.m. – Tour of the Carolina Beach and Kure Beach renourishment project – Congressman McIntyre will be joined by local officials and Army Corps of Engineers to view pumping of sand – $9.3 million in federal funds were secured by Congressman McIntyre for this project;

– 11:30 a.m. – 7th District Coastal Communities Lunch and Meeting, Pogies Waterfront Bar and Grill, 14 Causeway Drive, Ocean Isle Beach – Congressman McIntyre will be giving an update on the 7th District coastal projects.
