VIDEO: Fire Island Inlet Dredging Program (USA)

The big dredge has pipeline laid from the Democrat Point side of Fire Island Inlet onto the north side beaches and then running down to Babylon town beaches.

There are plenty of floating pipes and work buoys associated with this worksite. The dredge is reported to be working 24/7 in order to have the project completed by May.
