Mozambican Government Approves Strategy for ITD

The Mozambican government approved Strategy for Integrated Transport Development is currently underway in Mozambique along with some work on the country’s larger ports, macauhub.com reports.

The works included in the project are dredging of the access channel and manoeuvring basin at the port of Beira, construction of the coal terminal and the ocean dredger with a capacity of 2,500 cubic metres, and others.

Improvements are also being made to the Sena and Machipanda railroads to improve capacity and safety.
