DE Klop BV has delivered a new Soil Feeder to Van Oord.
The installation has now been successfully commissioned and is operating in Friesland, where the Soil Feeder is working in combination with a booster unit.
According to DE Klop, the Soil Feeder is designed to receive soil and mix it with water into a homogeneous and pumpable mixture. The mixture can then be transported through a floating discharge pipeline.
Combined with the booster unit, this provides a flexible and effective solution for pumping material over longer distances, the company concluded.
