Donjon Marine Co. Inc., from Hillside, New Jersey, has won a firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance dredging of the Newark Bay Federal Navigation Channel.
The amount of this action is $53.1 million with a total cumulative face value of $69.2 million, the Department of War (DoW) said.
Bids for this project were solicited via the internet with four received.
Work will be performed in Newark, New Jersey, with an estimated completion date of February 4, 2027.
"Fiscal 2026 civil operations and maintenance, funds in the amount of $53,165,800 were obligated at the time of the award," DoW said.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, is the contracting activity.
